REGULAR LAWN MAINTENANCE
Regular lawn care involves lawn mowing, edging and trimming on a weekly basis to maintain healthy and green turfgrass. Reno Green Landscaping begins regular lawn care in early spring.
Lawn Mowing
For aesthetic reasons, to encourage upright growth and to help prevent ruts and soil compaction, Reno Green crews use alternating mowing patterns every week. Our mulching mowers leave clippings on the surface of lawns to decompose and add beneficial organic material. We remove all lawn clippings from sidewalks, curbs, and roadways to keep your property clean and inviting.
Lawn Edging
Turfgrass edges along hardscaping are edged vertically to ensure your property is perfectly manicured.
Lawn Trimming and Tree Wells
We carefully trim around plant material, boulders, and other landscape elements as well as maintain tree wells around the base of trees.
Weed & Pest Control
While on-site, our crews remove weeds in lawn areas. We ensure infestations don’t start by catching and removing new weeds early.

ANNUAL LAWN CARE SERVICES
Reno Green Landscaping provides annual aeration and fertilization applications to maintain healthy lawns.
Aeration
In early spring after irrigation systems have been turned on, our crews aerate all lawn areas to minimize thatch buildup, reduce soil compaction for better water and nutrient absorption, and stimulate new growth.
Aeration is the process of removing three-inch cores from turfgrass and depositing them on the surface. It is normal practice to leave cores on the surface of the grass allowing them to decompose over time to add valuable nutrients.
Fertilization & Weed Control
Reno Green Landscaping uses a custom fertilizer blend that provides longer-lasting nutrients, minimizes broadleaf weed infestation, and helps reduce water usage. Our crews fertilize lawn areas up to 4 times per year, depending on soil conditions and turfgrass health and appearance.
We do soil testing to ensure turfgrass is receiving proper care and nutrients.
LAWN IRRIGATION SERVICES
Reno Green Landscaping offers complete irrigation services from regular repairs and maintenance to auditing and installation.
Irrigation System Start-Up and Winterization
Every spring, Reno Green Landscaping will turn on, reprogram, and make any necessary adjustments to the irrigation system to ensure the most efficient and effective scheduling. At the end of the season, our crews winterize irrigation systems and drain backflow prevention devices according to manufacturer’s specifications. We offer backflow device storage for the winter to deter theft.
Irrigation System Maintenance & Repair
During the growing season, Reno Green Landscaping monitors control valve operation and zone coverage. We adjust sprinklers as needed to minimize water runoff and waste.
Our irrigation technicians schedule your irrigation run times to the appropriate seasonal schedule, using the least amount of water necessary to maintain growth, health, and vigor of lawns.
